The Organization was re-established in the mid 1980’s after an earlier effort in 1922 was not sustained. Initially the Organization was a social entity but in recent years, school district and community based endeavors have been in the forefront.

The Alumni Association holds a Spring and Fall Breakfast at the High School cafeteria along with a Spring Banquet at a local establishment to allow alumni to network and to obtain school district & general alumni news.

In addition three informative Alumni Newsletters (“Smoke Signal”) are published throughout the year.

The Organization’s golf event fundraiser was established to assist in the initial construction effort for the Vietnam Memorial.

The Organization, along with class and individual alumni donors, provided funds to assist the school district in the 2011 installation of a high resolution free standing twenty-foot Digital Sign. The Digital Sign promotes school events and community activities.

The Organization has and will serve as a vehicle to connect the school district and its alumni to the community at large.
